Stuart Street Kindergarten is a community owned centre and was established in 1972.
The Stuart Street Kindergarten offers two kindergarten groups. One group attends Monday, Tuesday and an alternate Wednesday. The second group attends Thursday, Friday and an alternate Wednesday.
We operate between the hours of 8.45am – 2.45pm.
The Kindergarten is affiliated with the Creche and Kindergarten Association of Queensland. The C&K Association of Qld was founded in 1907. C&K provides a professional service in early childhood education, setting standards and maintaining quality. Almost 100 years of practical experience, curriculum development and proven positive outcomes for children enables C&K to substantiate its claim of leadership in the early childhood sector, emphasising the philosophy ‘where children come first’.
Our centre is recognised as a Government Approved Kindergarten service provider.
In the national Quality Framework Assessment cycle, our service is rated "Exceeding the National Quality Standards".

The kindergarten offers a traditional kindergarten program with a strong focus on play, exploration and holistic development of children, in an environment rich in natural elements.
The kindergarten offers an educational program based on ‘The Early Years Learning Framework’ and the C&K ‘Building Waterfalls Curriculum’, with longstanding, qualified teachers and staff.
